Foot bridge poses life threats to commuters in Bhalessa, Representatives failed to reach out the cause of sufferers

BHALESSA 26 May....... It may sound bizzer that the native region of Former Chief Minister Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad remain neglected on all fronts of developmental issues where a damaged foot bridge is yet not repaired or newly constructed since long that poses threat to every commuters .
Last week 08 year old Mohd Arif resident of Bhatoli Bhalessa in Doda district was drowned away in flood despite every commuter is crossing this point on very high risk. The 08 year old boy was Ist class student and was returning back home from Govt. Primary School Bhatoli, who while crossing Charnalla river losts his balance on a single sleepry path (trangri) and was washed away in river.
During last year, 3 bridges were washed away in a village Jasho Panchyat , Alni Gangota, Kahaljugaser but till day representatives and administration failed in taking any step or initiative for reconstruction of foot bridges.
Locals informed that these regions are falling under jurisdiction of Sub Division Gandoh comprising more than thousands souls each that remain cut off from rest other regions of Gandoh and other regions during rain and thunderstorms as the bridges had being washed away in flash floods in 2018. Adding that people of area had made temporary crossing points that are without any protection that results in causing casualties in every upcoming days beside students are facing lot of problems to reach their schools, Adding that why Administration had became so careless that since long no initiatives had been taken so far.
Local residents expressed their serious concern over the negligence of representatives and administration for not construction of foot bridges in Bhatoli where a precious lives was drowned away few weeks ago. Adding that despite the region having mass political representatives among which Ghulam Nabi Azad, Daleep Singh Parihar, Mohd Sharief Naiz and various others belongs beside area is still back in early man age as majority of population is illiterate.
Locals had demanded immediate restoration of foot bridges and hassle free supply of essential commodities and urged upon District Development Commissioner Doda to look into this matter personally to mitigate the suffering of the peoples.
